My name is Savannah. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life. From what you’ll read here, I hope that at least one person will learn from my mistakes and avoid some of the unnecessary heartbreak I had to experience. I don’t want to make the mistake of trying to tell anyone how to live their life. I just want to show how my decisions and choices determined what kind of life I would have today. I wouldn’t say that my life is bad, because it is not. Let me just say that if I had made certain decisions in my youth, I wouldn’t have had to work so hard now. At the same time, I am thankful that my life isn’t as bad as it could have been. I have made decision after decision that could have landed me in a terrible situation. It is often said that when you don’t know your history, you are doomed to repeat it. I am just doing my part to break that cycle. Come read of my life and the decisions I made that could have changed us all forever.

Overall this was a really interesting storyline and a very easy read. You are drawn in wanting to find out what happens to Savannah. Although the focus of the book was about Savannah, it seemed to go into extra detail about her mom and mom's best friend. The story also seemed to wrap up a little too neatly, and for me, didn't provide as much detail as I would have liked about Savannah. The book did get the reader aware of the various trappings out their for our young girls and really does bring needed awareness to this issue. While I think this is a God read for all ages, there were parts that were more suited for a younger audience and then other parts more suited for a more mature group.
What this book definitely does is get you interested and drawn in to all the characters. I am definitely looking forward to the next book to learn more about Savannah and family.

Sins of Savannah edition by Vanessa LeClever Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I thought this was a great book. There are a lot of things kids go through as they grow up and learn themselves and in some cases, despite what the parent says, they have to learn on their own as Savannah learned. I can't wait for part 2 of this book.
Excellent read!
I can't wait to read the sequel!!! Congratulations on your 1st baby!!!
I really enjoyed reading this novel. Can hardly wait to see what happens next with Savannah!!! Vanessa LaClever...Keep 'em coming!!!!
I can't put this book done. Very nicely written and it took me back to similar experiences from my teenage and college years.
It was a good story but I wasn't expecting to be left hanging in the end. Don't know if I'll read the follow up, it took a while for me to get into it.
This was a quick read but very engaging. The characters were relatable and had real struggles that all parents and teens face. As the parent of teen girls I found myself wanting to snatch Savannah up and understanding how Cassie was trying to find the balance of when to let go. I am looking forward to the second book...I can't wait to see how Savannah's decisions play out for her.
