How would one create a good guide for a racing game? One doesn't. In this work, you get some nice visuals of the different parts, characters, and tracks, but aside from that, this guide only really offers the hidden stats of characters and parts, a way to see tracks from a bird's eye view, and tips (just tips) on how to get good times and perform well in the Grand Prix. Since there isn't really a start to finish in this game, there isn't really a need to have a guide helping you, no matter how young one is. I wouldn't buy it for standard price, not at all. I suppose $4 would be fair enough.
When it has came down to racing games for the go, Mario Kart has been one of the best and fun bets for gamers for Nintendo for the past 20 years. But overall, with Mario Kart 7, many gamers for the Nintendo 3DS have already gotten their way to race to the finish line. But with the Mario Kart 7 strategy guide, they have found a new life in getting the checkered flag. It handles well with good displays and maps of each of the 32 tracks for the Nintendo 3DS challenge. While hardcore fans might feel it isn't going to be a must have because they are experienced enough to beat the game, newcomers to the Mario Kart games might want to buy this guide to the finish line. The guide shows each of the tracks brilliantly, but if you have already mastered the race to the finish line, you may just want to go somewhere else.

The book was very helpful and I learned how to get special objects and unlock items. I would recommend this book.
It is easy to understand and very helpful. It includes secret maps and codes to unlock characters, carts, gliders and wheels!
